This October and November we’re offering an unmissable professional development program for writers, including:

  • waterfront writers’ retreats;

  • our flagship Meet the Australian Publishing Industry program, with publishers and agents,

in the stunning surrounds of the Kermandie hotel in Port Huon.

FOR WRITERS OF GENRE FICTION

In 2023, our extremely popular Waterfront Writers’ Retreats in Port Huon return. The wonderful staff at Kermandie will make your stay memorable.

Spend a minimum of six quiet writing hours each day progressing your manuscript, or opt for afternoon masterclasses, then discuss your progress and any issues in a daily group tutor session ahead of dinner.

You will be paired with either publisher Lindy Cameron or editor Narrelle M. Harris as your tutor. Meals are included so retreaters can focus on their writing without distraction.
