2019 THEME: FEMALE BUSHRANGERS
Ned Kelly. Captain Moonlight. Captain Thunderbolt.
Their names are synonymous with desperation, crime and violence.
But at Terror Australis Readers and Writers Festival we ask, Ned who?
Because Australia had buckjumping, cattle-duffing, escape artist women bushrangers too, like:
Jessie Hickman, the Wild Woman of Wollemi,
Mary Ann Bugg, the notorious, craftier companion of Captain Thunderbolt, and
Tasmania’s own Mary Cockerill.
Real or imagined, what was the life of a woman living on the lam in the bush like? Who were her companions? What was her mood? How did she relate to the bush around her?
Capture the spirit of one of Australia’s tenacious, daring female bushrangers to win.
The Awards are open to all, regardless of home address, but please note that you must meet all requirements as set out in the terms and conditions of entry.

Exhibition Open Hours
10am - 4pm Daily Wednesday 30th October to Sunday 3rd Nov, and Friday to Sunday 10th Nov.
OFFICIAL OPENING AND AWARD PRESENTATION
The Official Opening will be held at Lovett Gallery from 6.00 pm, Friday 1 November 2019. All are welcome.
Exhibition commences Wed 30th Oct through to closing Sunday 10th November 2019.

ART WORK DELIVERY
Your artwork must be delivered to Lovett Gallery on or before Sunday 27th October between the hours of 10am and 4pm only. (Open Fri- Sun)
Deliveries outside these times can only be made by prior arrangement.
A receipt will be given for the entry fee during registration.
Please retain this receipt - without it you cannot collect unsold artwork.
ART WORK COLLECTION
Unsold artwork is to be collected between 3.00 and 5.00pm on Sunday 10th November 2019.
All artworks are to be signed out by the artist or their agent. Please produce your receipt.
