A delectable afternoon tea, a glass of bubbly and sparkling conversation with an award-winning crime author? Yes please!
You're invited to join 2018 Ned Kelly Award winner Sulari Gentill and Chris Gallagher, former director of the Tasmanian Writers Festival, in the opulent surrounds of Hadley's Orient Hotel for an afternoon of culinary and literary delights.
All funds raised go to the free community program in the new Huon Valley readers and writers festival, Murder She Wrote. You'll be joined at the tea by Murder She Wrote's Festival Director, L.J.M. Owen, and two festival panellists, Hobart's Tansy Rayner Roberts and Joanna Baker.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
Each attendee will receive:
- a glass of champagne,
- Hadley's deluxe afternoon tea, and
- three specially matched teas and readings from All the Tears in China.
Copies of the novel will be available on the day, thanks to the Hobart Bookshop.
N.B. Ticket sales end 12pm *midday* Friday 1 March. Don't miss out!
Fundraising - $1 = $2
Sulari has kindly included Tasmania in her tour to support fundraising for the new Huon Valley writers festival, the Terror Australis Readers and Writers Festival (TAF2019).
$25 from every afternoon tea ticket sold goes to fundraising. All funds raised will be matched dollar for dollar by MATCH Lab ($1 = $2). The $25 from each ticket becomes $50.
$50 will pay for the equivalent of 5 minutes of a free children's event within the TAF2019 Children's Program.
Your support is deeply appreciated.
